My husband bought me a voucher which was only valid for three months. Can the business put a time limit on a voucher which has been paid for in full?

My husband bought me a voucher at Christmas 2007 from a Beauty Salon and I have just noticed it was only valid for three months i.e to 25/3/08. Is the business allowed to put a time limit on a voucher like this which has been paid for in full? I feel it is unreasonable as I was unable to use it before the three months expiry date.

We are afraid that it is, provided that your husband was made aware of the fact before he bought it. You could speak to the salon to see if they will honour it anyway.
